We are looking for a qualified Management Accountant to join our team. The successful candidate will serve as a key point of contact across the business, delivering a responsive, customer-focused finance service that supports strategic and operational decision-making.
The key aspects of the role include:
- Acting as a trusted Finance Business Partner to various departments, providing financial insight and challenge.
- Preparing accurate and timely monthly management accounts and variance analysis.
- Produce and manage accounts by preparing relevant journals across the group.
- Overseeing the revenue analysis for assigned subsidiaries ensuring it is accurate and reconciled.
- Review of the weekly payment run for assigned subsidiaries.
- Monthly expenditure reviews with Managers.
- Assist in the budget setting process, partnering with managers that fall under your remit as lead accountant. Seek updated forecasts on a quarterly basis.
- Maintain Financial integrity of the ledgers through a formal Balance Sheet reconciliation process and hold quarterly review with the transactional team to review Purchase & Sales ledgers.
- Ensuring intercompany accounts are reconciled on a monthly basis.
- Supporting budgeting and forecasting processes in collaboration with operational teams.
- Ensuring compliance with relevant financial regulations, policies, and procedures.
- Identifying areas for process improvement and driving efficiencies across finance operations.
- Assisting with year-end accounts, audit preparation, and statutory reporting as required.
- Developing strong working relationships with both finance and non-finance stakeholders
About You:
- Fully qualified accountant (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
- Proven experience in a finance business partnering role or similar.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities within tight deadlines.
